Cassis and the Calanques

We took a trip to the coast, to the small village of Cassis. The coastline here has fjord like inlets that we took a boat trip through; they are called calanques (I think fjord might be an overstatement:) You can see 3, 6, or 9 calanques - we chose 3 calanques and a crepe. The town of Cassis was a picturesque, seaside town with a harbour of restaurants and shops. It was a tie as to who populated the town the most - the tourists or the men playing petanque in the town square.

I love this picture because it caught Lindsay off guard. Create your own caption - prize goes to the best one.
