A Lamb for Easter

Andy and I have decided to put our free time to good use...so we've been doing some cooking (more to come later on this subject). So, it was only natural that we stepped up to the challenge of cooking our first proper roast lamb for Easter, English style. We made real English potatoes, roasted veg, and even managed an Elderflower cocktail. We had an amazing sous chef, Lucile, who used her high tech skills to give us her recipe via email and cooking advice on Skype.

Let us know if you want the recipe! My grandfather asked Andy if he was going to be the regular chef from now on... I think that means it was a success.

Lindsay's mom and aunt made two very good desserts which definitely deserve a mention! Terry made an amazing meringue dessert we found in the Wall Street Journal. It was a recipe for Lemon Meringue Pie, but with the meringue on the bottom - delicious. Deb made a Rhubarb Raspberry Crostata from Bon Appetit - beautiful!

During this time of great transition for us, it was an incredible blessing to be reminded of the true and unchanging meaning of God's love for us this Easter.
