Altitude training in Tuscany...

On the steep, winding hill to get to the town of Montepulicano, we discussed how this incline would be Alex's perfect bike training... One could say it was the Italian version of the etap.

Car or woman: who is faster? Hard to tell. The tiny streets of this town are really only suitable for 1960s Renaults. However, we did note that the police cars in this town were of course, very fashionable - Alfa Romeo or Land Rover Defender. Not a bad choice.

This shot was taken before Lindsay had a cappucino...:)

This shot was taken after...!
Notice how good this picture is - that's because we managed to find a nice person to take it for us :) The views from the top were truly stunning - a panoramic scene of tuscan countryside. When we arrived the weather was grey from a recent rain storm. When we left, the skies were blue and the sun was shining - coincidence? We like to think not...

From here all roads lead to Rome - our next destination. Stay tuned for Andy's gladitorial debut and Lindsay's toga fashion statement!
